AI has evolved in its meaning and interpretation over the history of computing since the 1950s when it was originally coined. This talk goes through how we can and perhaps should think and talk about AI and its various "branches" from a philosophical level, and in particular within the healthcare context. Why has AI become such a popular term and what does it really mean? Perhaps more importantly, what is, "not AI?" Why should we care about all of this? Siddharth will take you on an incredible journey investigating some of these topics in this important field.
